Salary Range: $53,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely processing of goods.
• Supervise and train shipping and receiving staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, reporting discrepancies.
• Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and carrier selection.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent receiving, put-away, and cycle counting processes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the shipping and receiving area.
• Manage and maintain shipping and receiving equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Prepare and analyze shipping and receiving reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience leading a team, providing direction, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures relevant to warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

• - Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification quickly.
