Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain quality standards and implement corrective actions to address production defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, maintenance) to resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality, and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of production personnel.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• - Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs
• - First Aid/CPR certification
