Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the successful transition of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI).
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) feedback to R&D.
• Specify, procure, and qualify new equipment, tooling, and fixtures for NPI lines.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Drive yield and quality improvement initiatives during NPI pilot runs and ramp-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure NPI readiness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Demonstrated experience with process development, tooling, and equipment validation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the industry (e.g., electronics assembly, machining, injection molding).
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM/PDM systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD, mold flow analysis)
• Experience working with international contract manufacturers or suppliers
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and smart manufacturing technologies
