Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing, ensuring successful ramp-up to mass production.
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production control plans for new products.
- Manage prototype builds, pilot runs, and first article inspections, identifying and resolving manufacturing challenges.
- Select, qualify, and implement new manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures required for NPI.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes, focusing on yield, cost reduction, and quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues encountered during NPI phases.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
- Proven expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes relevant to the industry (e.g., machining, assembly, injection molding, SMT).
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and PDM systems.
- Experience leading NPI projects, including tooling, fixture design, and process validation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing automation or robotics integration.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
