Salary Range: $84,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards across all manufacturing operations.
  • Lead APQP activities and manage PPAP submissions for new product and process introductions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using 8D methodology and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Perform internal and supplier quality system audits to verify adherence to IATF 16949.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve FMEAs, Control Plans, and other core quality tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve process capability.
  • Serve as a primary quality contact for customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Expertise in IATF 16949 standard implementation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
  • Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions (e.g., 8D methodology).
  • Experience conducting internal and/or supplier quality system audits per IATF 16949.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier quality development or advanced supplier audits
