Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing software, production line systems, and shop floor equipment.
  • Log all support requests, resolutions, and actions taken in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations, peripherals, and manufacturing-specific devices.
  • Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance on IT assets and production-critical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff and vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical problems affecting manufacturing operations.
  • Educate and train end-users on basic IT best practices and the effective use of manufacturing applications.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., MES, ERP systems, PLC interfaces).
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with industrial IT equipment such as barcode scanners, label printers, and ruggedized PCs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for technical support.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing-specific software (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA).
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT).
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
