Salary Range: $53,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC Swiss-type lathes according to specifications.
- Load raw material into machine feeders and ensure proper stock alignment.
- Monitor machine performance, making offset adjustments to maintain part quality and efficiency.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to meet product specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or operational issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, tool changes, and fluid checks.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and various gauges.
- Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program adjustments to maintain part specifications.
- Strong understanding of various machining materials and their properties.
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced G-code programming or CAM software experience
- Experience performing preventative maintenance or minor machine repairs
- Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
- Experience with tooling selection and optimization for improved cycle times or part quality
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
