Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise calibration of manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
- Document calibration activities, results, and maintain comprehensive records.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and make minor repairs to instruments requiring calibration.
- Ensure all calibration work adheres to industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025) and internal procedures.
- Manage and maintain the calibration schedule for all plant equipment.
- Develop and optimize calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Select, set up, and operate primary and secondary calibration standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associates degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience and industry certifications (e.g., ASQ CCT).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience performing calibrations of various types of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
- Solid understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant metrology standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.1).
- Demonstrated ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform calibrations on a diverse range of instrumentation (e.g., electrical, mechanical, dimensional, temperature, pressure).
- Proficient in maintaining detailed calibration records, generating reports, and utilizing calibration management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated calibration systems or software (e.g., Fluke Met/Cal)
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic or mechanical test equipment
