Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, control systems, and power distribution.
• Implement and maintain electrical safety standards, procedures, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for electrical infrastructure and production assets.
• Specify, procure, and commission new electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize electrical system performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and industry best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and industrial control systems (SCADA, HMI).
• Demonstrated experience with power distribution, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical and automation issues in a production environment.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC) and their application in manufacturing.
• Experience leading electrical engineering projects, from design to commissioning, within a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI development.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Knowledge of machine vision systems for quality control or automation.
• Experience with industrial robotics programming or integration.
