Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees, including new hires.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and procedures (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hazardous waste management).
• Manage hazardous waste streams, air emissions, and wastewater discharge in accordance with permits and regulations.
• Prepare and submit required EHS regulatory reports and maintain accurate EHS records.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• 3-5 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct EHS risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience developing and delivering EHS training programs to a diverse workforce.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification, or active pursuit of either.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience conducting industrial hygiene monitoring (e.g., noise, air sampling).
• Multilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish.
