Salary Range: $45,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Plainwell seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for manufacturing operations.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices and accurately apply cash receipts.
• Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks for vendors.
• Conduct collection activities for overdue customer accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to AP/AR.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger processes.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy for data entry and reconciliation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365)
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles
• Familiarity with inventory management processes
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements within AP/AR
