Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Muskegon that are seeking skilled Warehouse Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and prevent stockouts.
- Implement and maintain a robust inventory management system, conducting regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse layout, material flow, and operational effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and freight carriers to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and reducing carrying costs
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated warehouse systems (AS/RS, AGVs).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
- Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for inventory and operations management.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage sustainability initiatives within a warehouse environment.
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish.
