Salary Range: $104,000 - $151,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Value Stream Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end value stream performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing principles and tools to optimize flow, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Develop and execute value stream mapping exercises to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve target metrics.
• Manage resource allocation within the value stream, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to optimize the extended value stream and enhance overall efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, VSM).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Experience with change management methodologies.
• Familiarity with a variety of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach teams on continuous improvement principles.
