Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Working Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material flow to support production schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate production teams.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
