Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Muskegon that are seeking skilled Welding Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) in accordance with industry codes and client specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and support for welding-related issues during manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
- Conduct root cause analysis for welding defects and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce scrap.
- Evaluate and select appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and automation solutions.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize part design for manufacturability and weldability.
- Develop and deliver welding training programs for production personnel and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations for welding processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification
- Experience with robotic welding systems
- Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods beyond visual inspection
- Project management experience in a manufacturing setting
- Advanced CAD/CAM software proficiency
