Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality non-conformances.
  • Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction and process development activities.
  • Manage the non-conforming material process, including identification, segregation, and disposition.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, PPAP, APQP).
  • Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

  • ASQ Certification (e.g., CQE, CSSBB)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100)
