Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Utilize statistical methods to monitor process capability and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards.
  • Lead the resolution of customer quality issues and complaints.
  • Facilitate the application of quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, and APQP.
  • Drive initiatives for defect reduction and process optimization.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D problem solving).
  • Solid understanding and application of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or other advanced ASQ certifications.
  • Proficiency with advanced statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.
  • Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for quality module management.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design review and tooling.
