Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Kentwood that are seeking skilled Training Manager / Coordinators. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing employees.
• Coordinate external training providers and vendors.
• Manage the learning management system (LMS) for tracking training completion and records.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
• Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and job aids.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory training requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate effective training programs.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Certification in instructional design or adult learning (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging multimedia training content.
• Proficiency in data analysis to assess training effectiveness.
