Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for tooling.
• Train and mentor tool room technicians on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize tool performance and design.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the tool room.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a tool room environment with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models for tool fabrication and repair.
• Strong knowledge of various machining processes, including CNC milling, turning, grinding, and EDM.
• Demonstrated expertise in tool design, material selection, and heat treatment processes.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs for tooling and equipment.
• Ability to effectively lead, mentor, and train a team of skilled toolmakers.
