Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and procurement, including forklifts, racking, and other material handling tools.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and material handling procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety and productivity
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP EWM or Oracle WMS.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD).
  • Proven ability to implement and optimize automation technologies within a warehouse setting.
