Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Welding Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) for various manufacturing applications.
• Provide technical expertise and support for welding-related issues on the production floor.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for weld defects.
• Evaluate and select appropriate welding equipment, consumables, and robotic systems.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for weldability.
• Conduct training and provide mentorship to welding technicians and operators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically with welding processes and metallurgy.
• AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW) and their application in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of NDT methods, weld inspection, and quality control procedures.
• Experience with robotic welding systems and automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification
• Experience with robotic welding systems and programming
• Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods and interpretation
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis
