Supply Chain Manager | Ludington, MI

Salary Range: $96,000 - $143,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Ludington seeking Supply Chain Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting processes to align with production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Utilize supply chain analytics to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of optimizing inventory levels and improving on-time delivery rates
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
• Project management experience, especially with ERP or WMS implementations.
• Familiarity with sustainable sourcing practices.
