Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate and maintain precision measurement equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using various metrology tools.
- Program, operate, and troubleshoot Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated systems.
- Document measurement results, calibration records, and inspection reports accurately.
- Analyze measurement data to identify trends, process variations, and non-conformances.
- Ensure all measurement activities comply with relevant industry standards and internal quality procedures.
- Assist in the development and validation of new measurement techniques and fixtures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, vision systems, hand tools).
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement tools and gauges.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills for measurement data interpretation and problem-solving.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or metrology laboratory environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model interpretation and measurement planning.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement.
- Ability to develop and optimize automated measurement routines (e.g., CMM programming, scripting).
- Familiarity with advanced metrology technologies such as structured light scanning or industrial CT scanning.
