Salary Range: $76,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
  • Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform internal and external quality audits of products, processes, and suppliers.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction and process optimization.
  • Develop and validate inspection and testing methodologies, equipment, and fixtures.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies including SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems; experience with industry-specific standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100) is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and utilize various metrology and inspection equipment.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert certification.
  • Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Experience conducting internal or external quality audits (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor).
  • Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485).
