Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize tooling for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related production issues and failures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for tooling performance problems and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams on new product development and tooling requirements.
- Manage tooling maintenance schedules, repairs, and inventory.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and manufacturing methods for tooling components.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling efficiency and lifespan.
- Specify, procure, and qualify new tooling equipment and suppliers.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tooling design (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, or machining.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve tooling performance and lifespan.
- Knowledge of materials science, heat treatment, and surface coatings for tool steels.
- Experience with GD&T, metrology, and quality control principles related to tooling.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or mold flow simulation software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Practical experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling applications.
- Understanding of automation and robotics integration in tooling systems.
