Maintenance Technician | Rockford, MI

Salary Range: $50,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics, manuals, and testing devices.
• Install, set up, and commission new production machinery and ancillary equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they cause downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and control systems.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices in an industrial setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• HVAC systems maintenance and repair experience
