Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Integrate and commission robotic systems, vision systems, and other automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system failures to minimize downtime.
• Lead automation projects from concept to completion, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure all automated systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial robotics integration, programming, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and control system architectures.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex automated machinery and control systems.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and data acquisition in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc iRVision).
• Familiarity with MES/ERP integration for manufacturing data flow.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools for OEE or predictive maintenance.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices for OT environments.
