Salary Range: $51,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
• Track, reconcile, and report on inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and prepare basic financial statements.
• Process and record purchase orders for raw materials, manufacturing supplies, and operational expenses.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of cost accounting principles, including inventory valuation (WIP, raw materials, finished goods).
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to generate accurate financial statements and support month-end/year-end close processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing for inventory and production tracking.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory valuation methods (e.g., LIFO, FIFO)
• Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Basic understanding of job costing or standard costing principles
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
