Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and profitability drivers.
• Develop, maintain, and update standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform inventory valuation, reconciliation, and obsolescence analysis.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis (e.g., material price, labor efficiency, overhead spending) and report findings.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes specifically for production and operational costs.
• Prepare and present cost-related reports and insights to management for decision-making.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements within manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proven ability to analyze production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced proficiency in specific ERP costing modules (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Cost Management).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and automate reports using VBA or similar scripting languages.
• Prior experience in a specific manufacturing sector (e.g., automotive, aerospace, food processing).
