Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead).
• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Perform inventory valuation, reconciliation, and obsolescence analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to production costs.
• Provide detailed product cost analysis to support pricing decisions and profitability reviews.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations related to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights for cost control and efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific ERP modules for manufacturing costing (e.g., SAP CO-PC, Oracle Cost Management).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for presenting cost analysis.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and their impact on cost drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA for complex modeling and automation.
