Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, skilled trades, and administrative positions, ensuring a continuous talent pipeline.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations, adhering to company policy and labor laws.
  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective action plans for all plant personnel.
  • Coordinate and manage workers' compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and promote a strong safety culture within the plant.
  • Support payroll processing and benefits administration, addressing employee inquiries related to compensation, leave, and shift differentials.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency for manufacturing employees.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations within a production workforce.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment for various roles, including production, skilled trades, and administrative positions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS administration, payroll processing, and HR reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with OSHA compliance and safety program support.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse manufacturing workforce.
  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing HR for a multi-shift or multi-site manufacturing operation.
