Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to ensure quality production.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface finish using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or part quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Experience with G-code and M-code programming, editing, and optimization.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality control.
• Knowledge of various tooling, inserts, and their applications for different materials.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM)
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
• Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
