Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain critical IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) ensuring high availability for manufacturing operations.
• Provide expert technical support for hardware, software, and network issues impacting production systems and personnel.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect manufacturing data and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Manage and execute data backup, recovery, and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in a production environment.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial PCs, PLCs, and SCADA system connectivity within the IT network.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance on servers and network devices.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support IT aspects of new equipment integration and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, MES, or PLC networks.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for IT infrastructure in a critical production environment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data backup/recovery strategies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems and industrial control systems (ICS).
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software in a production environment.
• Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices in a manufacturing setting.
