Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex PLC code, HMI interfaces, and industrial communication networks.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning of new and modified control systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and system configurations.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production personnel on automation systems.
  • Integrate PLC systems with SCADA, MES, robotics, and other plant-level control systems.
  • Ensure all programming adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal) and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation programming within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in debugging and optimizing industrial control systems for efficiency and reliability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
  • Robotics programming or integration experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial data historians or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration.
  • Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity best practices.
