Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the introduction of new products from design to mass production.
• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for new product assemblies.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA).
• Specify, procure, and qualify new production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Conduct pilot production runs, process validation, and capability studies (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NPI process to enhance efficiency and quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product development, or NPI roles.
• Proven experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to develop robust production procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from concept to production launch.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for manufacturing issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g., mold flow analysis, FEA for tooling).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Background in developing and implementing automated manufacturing processes or test fixtures.
• Proficiency in PLM/ERP system administration or advanced configuration.
