Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Optimize packaging materials and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of packaging designs to ensure product protection and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D teams to integrate packaging requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues on production lines and throughout the supply chain.
• Ensure all packaging designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Manage packaging development projects from concept through to successful launch and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in packaging development or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and knowledge of various packaging materials and processes.
• Familiarity with packaging testing standards (e.g., ISTA, ASTM) and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage packaging projects from concept through commercialization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt)
• Experience with sustainable packaging materials and design principles
• Proficiency in specialized packaging design software (e.g., ArtiosCAD)
• Knowledge of automated packaging machinery and robotics
