Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and sustainment of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, SMED, Kanban, VSM).
  • Identify and analyze manufacturing process waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies to drive improvements.
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and optimize production layouts, material flow, and work cell configurations.
  • Train and coach production teams on Lean methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and standard work.
  • Monitor and report on key Lean performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to integrate Lean practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED, Poka-Yoke).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Proven experience implementing process improvements and optimizations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software and statistical process control (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Experience coaching or training teams in Lean methodologies
  • Familiarity with automation concepts and Industry 4.0 technologies
