Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of production operators, assigning tasks and providing guidance.
  • Ensure daily production targets and schedules are met efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor product quality, ensuring adherence to manufacturing specifications and standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Train new production staff and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations.
  • Report on daily production metrics, team performance, and any operational challenges to management.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to achieve targets.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior production staff
  • Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills
