Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and quality control documents.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances, and maintain detailed quality records.
• Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate non-conformance reports.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure manufacturing processes meet established standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, ISO 9001).
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills for defect identification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting non-conformances and documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• GD&T proficiency
• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training
• Experience with SPC software or data analysis tools
