Salary Range: $80,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier quality.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve their quality processes and product conformity.
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including inspection plans and test reports.
• Manage incoming material inspection and testing processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier quality performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, including supplier audits, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and control plans.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software
• - Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or in a related field
• - Experience with root cause analysis tools like 8D, Fishbone, or 5 Whys
