Key Responsibilities

  • Design, fabricate, and repair intricate metal tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD data to create precise tooling.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
  • Perform precise measurements and quality checks to ensure tooling meets specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tooling during the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling design and performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of tooling production, modifications, and repairs.
  • Select appropriate materials and heat-treating processes for tooling applications.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Proficiency in operating conventional and CNC machining equipment (e.g., lathes, milling machines, grinders).
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and material properties.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for precision work.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality control techniques.

Bonus Qualifications
