Salary Range: $63,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, covering safety, operational procedures, quality standards, and equipment operation.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analyses, and discussions with department supervisors.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and hands-on exercises.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and post-training performance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, completion dates, and assessment results.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing training.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in developing, implementing, and managing training programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting training progress.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and engage diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training programs.
  • - Proficiency in developing and delivering e-learning modules or digital training content.
  • - Familiarity with adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
  • - Certification in a relevant field such as Six Sigma or Project Management.
