Salary Range: $67,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization, inventory, and maintenance of all tools, dies, fixtures, and equipment.
• Manage tool crib operations, ensuring timely issuance and return of tools to production personnel.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures within the tool room and for tool handling.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate tool room technicians and machinists.
• Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and repair of tooling to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, usage, repair history, and calibration.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify tooling needs and improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies for tool standardization and cost reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tool design, and metrology.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and preventative maintenance for tooling.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
