Salary Range: $67,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient workflow and timely availability of tools and equipment.
• Manage inventory of tools, dies, fixtures, and spare parts, implementing robust tracking and reordering systems.
• Supervise, train, and mentor tool room technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Implement and enforce preventative maintenance schedules for all tooling and machinery within the tool room.
• Ensure the proper calibration, repair, and upkeep of all tools and equipment to maintain precision and functionality.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in the tool room, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand tooling requirements and resolve issues.
• Develop and manage the tool room budget, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for savings.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tool design, and material science.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.

• Knowledge of preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for tooling.
