Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs.
  • Oversee and execute regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures and systems (e.g., ERP/WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop strategies to reduce obsolete, slow-moving, and damaged inventory.
  • Lead and train inventory staff on best practices for material handling and data entry.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics to forecast material needs and optimize flow.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory tracking and optimization.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of inventory management principles, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and demand forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and implement strategies to reduce discrepancies and improve stock accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
  • Experience with automated warehousing and material handling systems
