Salary Range: $44,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product conformance.
- Document inspection results accurately and completely, including acceptance/rejection status and detailed observations.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure product quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain inspection equipment by performing routine calibration and basic maintenance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrated ability to accurately use a variety of precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM).
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills for identifying and documenting non-conformances.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification (e.g., ASQ CQT) or Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with metrology software (e.g., CMM software, SPC software)
- Advanced GD&T knowledge or certification
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Experience with instrument calibration and maintenance
