Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking Incoming Inspection Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify adherence to specifications.
• Compare inspected items against blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems or inspection logs.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
• Maintain calibration and proper functioning of all inspection equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and production teams to resolve incoming material quality issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Demonstrated skill in using various precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
• Working knowledge of quality control principles and inspection methodologies, preferably in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 environment.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results and utilize Quality Management System (QMS) or ERP software for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conforming materials or components.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Prior experience with supplier quality processes or non-conformance resolution.
