Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations and workflow to ensure production targets are met.
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies on the shop floor.
• Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators to management.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments to address equipment needs and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Certification in Six Sigma or other quality management systems
• - Proficiency in using ERP/MRP software for production planning and inventory management
• - Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety programs
