Salary Range: $88,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new products and processes.
• Conduct advanced root cause analysis using methodologies like 8D, FMEA, and Ishikawa diagrams to resolve complex quality issues.
• Develop, implement, and monitor statistical process control (SPC) plans and conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Serve as the primary quality liaison for customers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams on critical quality matters.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and internal quality management system requirements.
• Support new product introduction by validating manufacturing processes and ensuring robust quality gates are in place.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and advanced problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification
• Proficiency with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) or advanced BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with specialized industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
