Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex root cause analysis and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Develop, implement, and optimize quality control plans (QCPs) and inspection methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Provide quality assurance support throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from design to production launch.
  • Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through audits, scorecards, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze manufacturing quality data to identify trends, predict failures, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D problem-solving).
  • Thorough understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
  • Lead Auditor certification (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO 13485).
  • Proficiency with advanced statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.
  • Experience implementing Machine Learning or AI for predictive quality applications.
